Service changes, cancellations and postponements due to COVID-19

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our residents and county employees, Kent County has implemented several service changes through April 13, 2020. You can access a wide range of county services online. Specific information on how you can interact with County departments/offices is as follows:

    If you see an animal you are interested in adopting, complete the application and e-mail kcas@kentcountymi.gov. Also, the shelter is only accepting surrendered animals as a result of extreme emergency. Please call (616) 632-7300 prior to bringing an animal to the shelter. Dog licenses will continue to be processed online.
