What We Do

The Kent County Animal Shelter (KCAS):

  • Seeks placement of appropriate animals into responsible homes.
  • Implements programs promoting safety and responsibility among pet owners and children in the community.
  • Strives to reduce pet overpopulations.
  • Creates and maintains community outreach and support programs to help keep families and pets together.
