Resources for Parents Program
The Resources for Parents program (RPP) is a short-term program offered for parents who are court ordered to pay child support but are unable to afford the full monthly support payment due to:
- Unemployment and underemployment
- Education
- Community Reentry
- Physical or mental health
- Other barriers
RPP will help you as a parent to fully support your child(ren), both financially and emotionally. We will connect you with community partners and resources. While participating in the program, we can temporarily pause most enforcement action. We can also assist with parenting time and driver's license concerns.
To qualify for the program, you must meet all the following:
- Have a Kent County child support case
- Live in or near Kent County
- No pending child support felony case
- Have a phone/email for contact
